COSTA sits right on the beachfront in Sanur, and it's exactly the kind of place to settle in with a jug of sangria and watch the water. As a spot for a lazy afternoon, it's hard to fault.
The pizza is more of a supporting act. The base is bready — closer to a flatbread than a pizza dough with real character — and the top gets a shake of dried herbs rather than anything fresh. Nothing about it offends, but nothing excites either.
Call it a five out of ten: perfectly fine alongside a sangria at sunset, but if pizza is the reason you're heading out, this isn't the one.
