Irma

Irma is right next door to Bottega Italiana in Canggu, close enough that we sat down thinking they were the same place. They aren't. We got eaten alive by mosquitoes, but the pizza made up for it.

The Margherita is light, crispy and chewy, with good cheese and a sauce that's really, really good.

Two small things hold it back. There's coarse semolina on the crust, which I never love, and the cheese melts into the sauce a little too evenly, so the two run together.

Apart from that, it's excellent. Worth the mosquito bites.
