“Good sauce and cheese on a base that bakes a bit biscuity.”
We had pizza at Luna Beach Club on New Year's Day.
It was pretty good. I liked the sauce and the cheese together. The base is the odd part: it bakes to a biscuity texture, as if it's been in the oven a little long, and it's more chewy than crunchy.
It came with cherry tomatoes on top, which it didn't need, and ranch dressing, which it needed even less. Every pizza we saw come out of the kitchen had it.
A decent beach-club pizza, better without the extras.
