The Lawn

The pizza at The Lawn came out a little after the rest of our food, which was really good: a spicy vodka-sauce macaroni, a lovely hummus, and edamame with a spicy sesame-miso dressing.

The Margherita comes with generous melted cheese, cherry tomatoes and dollops of stracciatella on top. The sauce is nice but rich and thick, where I prefer something brighter, and with the stracciatella on top it makes for quite a heavy slice. The dough is average, not particularly crispy or light.

It's nice, but it's a level below the great pizzas in Bali.
